Social Emotional Learning and School Climate, Certificate
REQUIREMENTS:
All students seeking admission to this certificate program will need to go through the same admission process as required of Students at Large in the Department of Education. All three courses (9 credit hours) below are required to earn the certificate. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA, and no grade below a C is acceptable.

The Certificate:
This undergraduate and graduate certificate program is intended for prospective and licensed teachers who wish to add on professional development in social emotional learning, classroom management and trauma-informed instruction. All required courses are aligned with the competencies/standards recommended by the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL). All students seeking admission to this certificate program will need to go through the same admission process as required of Students at Large in the Department of Education.
