The certificate in nonprofit management is a certificate designed for college graduates who are pursuing careers in nonprofit organizations. The certificate provides the student an overview of the nonprofit sector. In addition, the certificate addresses specific skills that individuals working in nonprofit organizations need. The certificate is a three course, 9 hour sequence.
To gain admission into the certificate program, participants must be admitted to the university through the regular admission process. Certificate courses can be applied toward the complete Master’s in Public Administration for students who subsequently decide to pursue the complete degree.
The below three courses are required to complete the certificate. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA and attain at least a B in all courses. All of the courses can count toward the Master’s in Public Administration degree.
