The Organizational Leadership, BAOL/ MPA program allows undergraduate students to start earning credits toward their Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree by taking graduate level courses during the completion of their undergraduate Organizational Leadership, BAOL. Specifically, students take three graduate-level courses as part of their undergraduate degrees. Once students are admitted to the MPA, the courses will also apply toward completion of the MPA degree.

An Organizational Leadership degree leads to careers in consulting, employee development, recruitment, healthcare administration, association management, information management, human resources, labor relations, law enforcement, project management, strategic planning, and training, among others. The MPA degree adds the public sector perspective to the student's management skills development process. Understanding the operation of both public and private sector organizations  makes the BAOL/MPA graduate a prime candidate for leadership positions in a broad range of organizations in both sectors.

In short, the BAOL/MPA degree saves graduates time and money. At the same time BAOL/MPA graduates make successful management candidates because that have knowledge and skills in specific administrative areas as well as public and private sector processes. 

• Major in Organizational Leadership

• Completion of 60 credit hours of undergraduate course work

• Have and maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0
• Obtain permission from the MPA director to take the required MPA courses
• Upon completion of the Organization Leadership, BAOL, apply to the MPA under the normal admission process

The student will take the following three MPA graduate courses as part of the Organizational Development, BAOL. All of the courses will receive credit toward the Master’s in Public Administration degree once the student is admitted to the MPA program.
