The Healthcare Ethics, Analytics and Law (Counter Fraud Studies), [HEAL] graduate certificate is a four-course, 12SH certificate that provides the successful graduate with preparation to work as a health care fraud investigator or health care compliance specialist. The three didactic courses develop knowledge in criminology, law, ethics, and analytics. The capstone research project allows students to utilize actual health care databases to research important health care fraud issues, providing a real-life experience that is directly transferable to employer applications.

Each course is 8 weeks in length allowing for the certificate to be completed as quickly as 16 weeks if taking 2 courses simultaneously.
