Bachelor of Musical Arts - Interdisciplinary Music Industry

The Bachelor of Musical Arts – Interdisciplinary Music Industry will be offered beginning in the Fall 2023 semester.
The Bachelor of Musical Arts with Interdisciplinary Music emphasis offers three degree paths for students interested in combining studies in music with coursework in the liberal arts and sciences and a specialized track focused on the music industry.
The program offers curricular flexibility in the choice of General Studies electives as well as the specific music industry emphasis. Students complete an internship in a professional setting during the senior year. The self-designed capstone project combines the student’s interests, studies, and experiences.
Admission Requirements:
Students will present the audition requirements for their major performance area (instrument or voice). Please consult the CCPA Admission and Audition Information web page for the requirements. An essay and an interview with program faculty are also required.
Grade Requirements:
The minimum passing grade in Applied Music 201, 202, and 203 is C- (including the related jury exams). The minimum passing grade in Applied Music 204 and PERF 201 ACADEMIC MAJOR FRESHMAN/SOPHOMORE JURY is B-. The minimum passing grade in MAS 310 BMA Capstone is B-.
