Computer Science Bridge Program
Offered in: Chicago
The Computer Science Bridge program is for students who have already completed their undergraduate education but did not complete the necessary sequence of courses required for admission in the MS in Computer Science. This 3-course (9-hour) Computer Science bridge program allows students to fulfill these prerequisites in a very streamlined fashion.
All classes for this certificate can be completed as rapidly as a single year.
Requirements:
To earn the Computer Science Bridge Program certificate, students must complete all required course work with a grade of C- or better.
Because of the rapidly changing nature of this field of study, computing courses taken more than eight years ago cannot be counted towards degree requirements unless the student has been continuously registered since the time the course was taken (excluding summers).
The student will take the following three courses in the Computer Science Bridge Program. Note that these courses will be taken in preparation for the MS in Computer Science program and will not count as credit in the MS in Computer Science program. Some of the courses may be waived if the student has met these course requirements elsewhere.
